Yesterday, voters in Mahomet decided to end prohibition in the village. Ever since WWII, it had been illegal to sell/purchase alcohol in the village.

Wow...Mahomet is no longer dry. I never thought I would see the day. My next trip through I will have to stop for a beer. I am not much of a drinker but I will do it out of principil.
