|Just received the information below from Claudette McGuire Bradford:
"Doug, just wanted to report on our 40 year reunion held August 26, 2006 in Mahomet - We had a great turnout - 30 of the 58 remaining classmates, plus their spouses/guests.
Good food, wonderful fellowship, competitive trivia, and even a full rendition of I'm Henry the 8th I AM - Suddenly were 58 and 59 year olds were 17 and 18 again.
Discovery was made that Mrs. Renkel, the former English teacher, lived across the street from the Luthern Church where the reunion was held and someone invited her to come join us and she did. She had as much fun as we did.
Us old timers started pooping out by 9:30pm and started leaving. Maybe next time we should start at noon and allow time for an afternoon nap.
Lots of digital pictures were made and I am compiled them to produce copies for all interested classmates.
We had classmates from New York, Ohio, Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, and Illinois. As usual, few LOCAL people actually came but it was definitely their loss. We will be talking and emailing about this reunion for years and years to come.
